Important update to the 2023 Katana Liquidity Mining Program

What is the 2023 Katana Liquidity Mining Program?

The 2023 Katana Liquidity Mining Program is the latest update to RON liquidity and incentives available through the Katana DEX.

Introducing New RON Token Pairs

We launched Ronin in 2021 because our flagship blockchain game, Axie Infinity, needed a more efficient scaling solution to process the enormous transaction volume from our active players. 

Today, Ronin has begun its exciting journey towards becoming a foundation for more blockchain games than Axie. As a result, the RON token must become more liquid to support more activity and more games!

That’s why we’re introducing new RON pairs that will receive the rewards previously emitted by WETH pairs. This means WETH pairs will continue to exist but will no longer emit rewards, while new RON pairs will emit those former rewards instead.

Here are what the new token pairs and their emissions will look like:

RON/WETH* emissions will be ~60,422 RON per day  

AXS/RON emissions will be ~24,169 RON per day 

SLP/RON emissions will be ~12,084 RON per day 

USDC/RON emissions will be ~24,169 RON per day 

We expect this important change to increase RON liquidity. This is a critical step towards a successful mainnet DPoS launch.
